Report Configuration Settings

Report Configuration Settings let you control what columns appear when you download reports from the Gateway as Excel or CSV.

By default, the Original Format export includes about 60–70 fields (essentially everything available on a transaction). If you only need a smaller set of fields, you can create a custom format to download a cleaner report.

Create a Custom Report Format

  1. Go to Report Configuration Settings

     

  2. Click Add New Report Format
  3. Enter a name for your format (example: “Custom”)
  4. Choose which fields you want included:
    • Select fields from the list on the left

       

    • Use the right arrow to move them into your export format
  5. Click Save

Your custom format is now available for downloads.

Download a Report Using Your Custom Format

  1. Go to Reports and run a report (Search Transactions or Snapshot results)

     

  2. Click Download Reports
  3. Choose your export format:
    • Original Format (always available)

       

    • Your custom format(s)
  4. Download the file as CSV/Excel

When you select a custom format, your download will include only the fields you chose.

Set a Default Export Format

If you want to avoid selecting a format every time:

  1. Return to Report Configuration Settings

     

  2. Select your preferred custom format
  3. Set it as Default

Now, when you click Download Reports, the Gateway will automatically use that format.
